Good Morning World!

This is 5.45 AM; I woke up at 5.30 AM today.

I didn’t sleep properly; I was reading the dictionary at about 11 PM when I fell asleep in a prone position without the quilt (the blower saved me)!

I will make  a list of things to do today in a few moments; I may go for a morning walk too (Delhi winter is something I savour).

The internet connection is rather sluggish since yesterday night; probably one/both of the two friends (with whom I share the MTNL broadband) is/are downloading something (despite my advice to the contrary)!

Yesterday evening, I got my corduroy trouser from the tailor; It’s okay but not a fitting that would really delight me. I have two more corduroy clothes waiting their turn. I like Pyjamas and rarely wear a trouser!

I bought 4 eggs from Munirka yesterday; they have above average size! I am yet to perfectly boil eggs in my microwave.

P.S.: 1. The CAT results were declared yesterday. I recall I had got 91.92 percentile when I had taken CAT in 2007 (with 99.94 percentile in English which is not an awesome score when you note the fact that the total correct was only some 56 per cent). It was without any study; I was preparing for it but for an ugly incident in the hostel (a dalit student had filed a fake case against me in the National Commission for Scheduled Castes) which claimed more than two months of my life and the innate desire to avoid Maths. I did not apply to any institute; I went to TISS (Mumbai) though but was not selected finally.

2. I will phone my home before 9 AM today and switch off my phone for the rest of the day. Just for a change!

“The chairperson of my centre recently scolded me for an English error. I wrote PH.D. (instead of Ph.D.) on the registration folios! This is one reason I would always want to be scolded for. I have to improve my English especially when I aspire to be a writer/thinker/somebody. Please bring English errors on this blog to my notice.

I am so surprised that you made this mistake of writing Ph.D. as PH.D ! As far as I know you, you are so good at Enlish that you can even point out the most unnoticable mistakes in others language. This mistake is actually a punctuational mistake. Its good that you are not, unlike most of the convent passed out student, showing off your english (hope so!) but actually trying to make it more graceful. All the best to you! Wish you develop same respect and feelings for hindi as well.

    REPLY TO PRIYANKA:

    Hello Priyanka,

I am not exceptional with English as you have suggested! I am learning and there is so much I have to learn. I know I make errors while writing.

I am not convent educated and I hate show-offs! I have been educated in Dayanand Anglo-Vedic Public Schools (DAV)!

I love Hindi and respect it too!
