Ideally it should have been fair and handsome: “world’s no. 1 fairness cream for men”! Obama @ Ladkiyon wali cream!;)
You won’t believe I also used Fair and Lovely for about 5 years! I stopped applying it when I passed the teenage! I have a link to a photo of mine in the ‘about me’ page if you are wondering whether the cream worked wonders for me!
@Roop Rai,
Relax Roopji! Don’t feel sorry! Do it only when you have time or just don’t do it if you are running short of time. Any good/sane person should not take offence in that and I am a good man Roop ji.
Enjoy writing and blogging. Though I am a new kid on the block, I sometimes feel it could become tedious if I overdo it or go overboard with it.
Hereafter, feel no urgency whenever I leave comments on your blog. You won’t believe but I sometimes fear making new blogging acquaintances because it will add to my task of reading new posts and leaving comments and I am running short of time and then I think how will these blogger friends will feel if I do not visit them or do not comment on their posts! I wrote a similar comment to Nimmi when she felt sorry that she has not visited my blog! Thank heavens I have a good typing speed; it simplifies my blogging tasks to a great extent!
I am in the fraternity now, more or less! And thank you all for embracing me!
P.S.: boy! I just recalled I have to visit Nimmi and leave my comments (I had told her I’ll read her without hoping for a quid pro quo)
Nice avtaar but he looks better without being fair……..:)
Dude Awesome, Its not easy being a White-man in the Black-man’s world,
@ Nidhi
He surely looks better without it. I see we see eye to eye sometimes!
Chirag
Yeah! especially when you have such metamorphosing cosmetics available for application with or without the subject’s consent!
Trust me, vikas, ppl HAVE taken offence in the past!!
and i am TOTALLY with u on the relaxed version of comment showering. sme days like today i’ll write two hehe … but others, i wont leave any … and not expect them to be answered either. hear hear mate.
also, grapes of wrath was our grade 12 english Xmas assignment!! imagine that eh! a book like that assigned for xmas time!!! ugh. i didn’t read it. watched the movie instead. turns out that movie wasn’t the same as the book. dang and the final was from Grapes of Wrath too … at end of Jan … which i STILL hadn’t read … so i somehow wrote the essay from hear-say i remembered from class lectures :p … strangely i got an 85 in that class. tch, only if i had read the darned book, 90s wouldn’t have been far. hehe that’s my grapes of wrath story. :p
@Roop Rai
I wish I don’t run into people who take offence because I did not visit/comment/replied to comments!
Sometimes, I even wonder if all people who have commented on a story actually read the complete story! I especially smell a rat when there are one line comments like ‘nice post’, keep writing or just a smiley (to register the visit) to long thoughtful posts!
Sometimes I visit blogs yet don’t leave comments because either I did not read the whole post or did not fee like commenting and I did not wanted to register my perfunctory presence! For example, in last few days I visited Reema and Alice but didn’t write anything!
Someday, when I am fully into the fraternity, I will ask Poonam (Blogosphere manager) to write on this and debate a protocol on visits, comments, etiquette etc.
I have not read the book; the film is somewhat different and has a different ending (I recall reading in Wikipedia). You were lucky to get 85; you’d have managed more than 90 if you had read the book but then it would have spoilt your xmas too in all probability! You can’t have the cake and eat it too!
Dear Vikas, I am happy ,you have the guts to list down your follies.I will always visit your site and post my comments.
Would you like to visit CHANGE INDIA site ??www.indiaoftomorrow.blogspot.com
@B. K. Chowla,
Thanks Mr. Chowla. I’ll visit your site.
P.S.: You have left comment on the wrong post but it’s okay.
Iam glad that you liked this pic so much that you decided to put it on your blog too.
. I got it an an email forward and found it pretty amusing. It just proves again that most of the times, nature has already made us perfect.
@Dev
