irctc really is frustrating for tatkal booking.

I have never got any tatkal ticket booked easily. Minimum I need to sit for 1 hr atleast for the site to open and for the ticket to get booked.

This is really frustrating. IRCTC SHOULD IMPROVE ITS SERVER PERFORMANCE.

I always prefer to go home by Volvo as this site doesnt work many a times.

IRCTC is neglecting this for years now….

FUCK mamta banerji with a sword…

today for an urgent work, i was booking a tatkal ticket in the morning.
I am very much aware of the bandwidth in the mornings, so i decided to login before 8:00 AM.
Everything was going a little laggy but i was not worried cuz a total of 280 tickets were available for tatkal…
i entered the details, then proceed to make payment…
But after i clicked my option, the web page was stuck there..
and after few minutes, it says to re login,

” BECAUSE YOU KEPT THE PAGE IDLE FOR LONG TIME, OR YOU HAVE CLICKED BACK/REFRESH ”

WTF !!

i decided to relogin, but after 25 minutes, all tickets were sold !!

i wants to say one thing to IRCTC

maybe we shud complain about it to the consumer forum
bdw itz not the only website which is slow
infact all the government website SUCK!
The only thing which our government is good at doing is looting people!
You’l spend lesser time standin in the que for booking ticket then waitin for ur ticket on dis page!

No one will listen here as its government owned website and you know our government is slowpoke..
They don’t care whether you are able to book ticket or not because Indian Railway is earning a lot through normal booking from the station. Otherwise they could have improved their website when they know that online users are increasing exponentially every year.
Indian Government cannot progress and cannot achieve the goal which they are supposed to get in the fixed period of time.
Shame on our government, out of 1.2 billion population not even 100 million users access irctc website and still its slow like anything. they should take some tips from Google to know how to handle the traffic.

Now some other private / commercial sites are offering booking railway tickets, so may be some looters making irctc site slow and helping private website for money
