2010 नया साल, हो खुशहाल!

I wanted to write a short Hindi poem and some Hindi slogans/greeting for children welcoming the New Year but I ended up reading the works of various Hindi bloggers on the New Year. The internet is full of Hindi poems, slogans, essay and blogs and I quickly collected some nice Hindi posts welcoming the New Year. I am thinking of starting a weekly or fortnightly link post on Hindi poems/posts/essay from the Hindi blogosphere.
By the way the following Hindi lines were a favourite refrain of my Hindi teacher in school. This will be a very useful short Hindi poem for anybody looking for a few Hindi lines on festivals.
पर्व आते हैं
चले जाते हैं
पैसे कहां जेब में
रस कहां ह्रदय में
कि उनका स्वागत करें !
This a quick list of some Hindi poems, slogans, greetings and an essay on the theme ‘Happy New Year’ that I ran into on the internet. Some of these Hindi poems are quite philosophical and touch on various social issues.
1. ‘Naye saal ka Vaada’ by Wasi, JNU student
